The Princess of Wales is no stranger to Wimbledon and attends every year, not only to enjoy the tennis, but also to present the awards for the women and men’s singles finals. For today’s women’s final, the Princess of Wales has arrived at The Championships in her boldest look yet - a stunning red dress starring one of the most popular features of 2010s style.

The Princess waved to the crowds on Saturday (11 July) and looked radiant in a bright, bold shade of red. The V-neck midi dress by Roland Mouret features an A-line skirt and short sleeves as well as one stand-out detail – a peplum frill. Peplum dresses and tops were a huge trend in the 2010s, particularly favoured as they are a flattering addition to dresses and skirts which can otherwise cling.

Kate wore her long hair down in gentle waves, with the front pieces pulled back into a sophisticated half up-do, helping keep her hair away from her face in the heat. The temperature in Wimbledon, London was 29 degrees as Kate was photographed, so she has a warm afternoon ahead!

For each day Kate attends Wimbledon, she wears a different look. However, there is one accessory which remains a staple; her Wimbledon brooch. Today was no different, as Kate fixed the green and purple check bow (Wimbledon’s iconic colours) to her red outfit.

Just yesterday, Kate was at another sporting event, and this time had a personal vested interest in one of the players - her husband, Prince William. The Prince of Wales was taking part in the 2026 DMMI Royal Charity Polo Cup, in Windsor. Kate was there to show her support, as well as to present the winning cup. For the occasion, the Princess channeled a classic English picnic, wearing a black and white check dress, reminiscent of a picnic blanket.

The Princess is expected to attend The Championships again tomorrow, for the men’s singles final event. She also made a surprise appearance earlier in the week, taking selfies in the queue with those waiting outside the grounds, and even having a go collecting tickets on the welcome desk.

During her day at the tennis, she met with legends of the sport including Sir Andy Murray, who told Good Housekeeping that the pair had discussed parenting, and said Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis enjoy playing tennis and padel.
