As the weather turns and propels us squarely into the new season, we've been keeping an eye out for some Autumn wardrobe inspiration and who better - as ever - to source ideas from than the Princess of Wales?
The Princess stepped out for an important visit last week (Thursday 24 September), wearing a pair of stylish loafers, which are perfect for the autumn season. She opted for a flat, deep brown pair by Boden in a croc print. And, the good news is that the exact style - the 'Nya Penny Loafers' - are still in stock in 7 colour options, although sadly not in the croc style the Princess chose to wear on this occasion.
The closest option to Kate's which is still available to buy would be the 'Bitter Chocolate Suede' (below). However, we also love the metallic silver pair, which are ideal for injecting a little drama into any of your looks - they're also an easy way to take an outfit seamlessly from day to night.
Loafers are an ideal autumn staple which go with just about anything, and make every outfit feel that little bit more polished. The Princess paired hers with cigarette trousers and a blazer in (fittingly!) a 'Princess of Wales check'.
Kate's jacket was from Max Mara but if you, like us, you don't have quite the budget for a high end designer buy, take a look at this double from M&S. It's £65 and is stocked in a wide range of sizes, up to 24:
The Princess was in Southend-on-Sea on Thursday to mark Addiction Awareness Week. She was joining the social justice charity The Forward Trust which supports people in recovery from addition, and helps them move forward their lives.
Kate has been patron of the organisation since 2021 and, on her most recent visit, met with CEO Mike Trace to discuss the work the charity has been doing, as well as its campaign. 'The Big Addiction Conversation', aimed to combat the stigma around addiction as well as build understanding and empathy.
