Agatha Christie’s Marple: The Mirror Crack’d From Side To Side

Hannah is dazzling in this fantastic whodunnit. The story begins when movie star Marina Gregg (Lindsay Duncan) moves to Miss Marple’s sleepy village of St Mary Mead. She throws a garden fête in the lavish Gossington Hall but the occasion soon becomes a tragedy. Local fan Heather Badcock (Caroline Quentin) dies after drinking a poisoned daiquiri. Miss Marple (Julia McKenzie) and Inspector Hewitt (Hugh Bonneville) investigate, as it’s suspected the drink was meant for Marina. Hannah plays Lola Brewster, a glamorous actress and Marina’s rival, while Joanna Lumley plays Dolly Bantry, the outlandish and eccentric friend of Miss Marple who also attended the party. This Agatha Christie adaptation revolves around married couple Tommy (David Walliams) and Tuppence (Jessica Raine), who find themselves propelled into the world of Cold War espionage. The drama is split into two three-part stories – the first is called The Secret Adversary and the second is called N or M? Hannah Waddingham stars in the latter as the Blonde Assassin.
