These Are the Best LEGO Prime Day Deals, According to a Mom and Collector

One thing that might keep your outdoor-loving kid occupied indoors for a few hours? This tree house set, which has a little bit of everything: a zip line, slide, canoe, and animal figures (among many others in the 1,128-piece collection).

For passionate builders, I always recommend the Creator 3-in-1 sets because they can be taken apart and rebuilt using the same set of bricks. This playhouse can become a modern house at the beach, a stylish three-story city building, or a forest cabin. It includes two mini figures for creative play once assembled.

This Cinderella set just dropped to its lowest price ever and features a minifigure of the princess, along with a very tiny Gus the mouse. The dress form would look so cute on a vanity, and the base has hidden play scenes inside.

When this LEGO Fortnite set was on sale during Black Friday for 30% off, it sold out almost immediately. If this beloved llama has been on your wish list, now is the time to buy it. You can store all the accessories inside the pack.

You could buy all the Speed Champions cars individually, but you could save a bundle buying this set of 10 race cars while they are deeply discounted. Each car is about 8 inches when finished and is a scale model of the real deal. This even comes with an exclusive F1 poster.

This interpretation of the London skyline makes great office decor once assembled. You can build (and later admire) the iconic landmarks, including the National Gallery, Nelson’s Column, London Eye, Big Ben, and Tower Bridge.

The Lion King Simba build is an affordable and playful set that can be posed in multiple different ways. It has a tail and head that can both rotate and move—and since it’s designed for younger builders, it is meant to be played with.

Old school Disney fans will instantly recognize Cruella De Vil’s car, with its vanity license plates and doors that open. The 101 Dalmatians villain is in minifigure form, and of course there’s a spotted puppy figure as well.

DUPLO sets are designed to be easier for little kids to manipulate, with chunkier bricks and bigger figurines. The included easy-to-read picture directions also help kids learn problem-solving skills and the confidence to build on their own. What’s more, they’ll love using their imagination to move the cars and trucks around, or play with the child and bee figures included.

My personal favorite LEGO sets are from the botanical line. I love how realistic they look—and unlike real flowers or plants, these never wilt. This two-pack of roses is beginner-friendly and a sweet surprise at just $9.

The Creator three-in-one sets are some of my favorites because they really encourage kids to build (without having to buy new sets all the time). These pieces can be used to make a fox, and then disassembled to put together as an owl or squirrel. At $35, it’s the perfect birthday or future holiday gift.

Roller coasters are staples of the LEGO-building world, and this one is a great bargain at $70. Kids can build this stylized set and then play with it for hours. It makes a great gift for the holidays, so grab it while it’s marked down and save it for December.

Although the Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle is only 19% off, it's a worthwhile sale (especially considering it's only $1 away from its lowest price ever). Right now is the perfect time to score this collectible, especially if you're a Harry Potter fan.

At under $16, this adorable donut set is at an affordable price for kids to add to their own LEGO City. Plus, it comes with vendor and customer figures and a detachable kiosk if you want to turn your food truck into a brick-and-mortar shop.

Dinosaurs will never go out of style, and this set from Jurassic World looks like it came straight out of a natural history museum. Kids can build the dino and a fossilized footprint of the Ankylosaurus.

This popular set is often on sale for 20% off, but right now, it’s the lowest price it has ever been at 30% off. This is a great display-worthy piece since the stylish vehicle is so distinctive. It’s also loaded with gear and moving elements, making it the perfect present for the adult car lover in your life.

I’ve watched the price on this fluctuate a lot over the last two weeks, from full price to a deep markdown. If you see it while it’s 36% off (or more), grab it. It’s a scale model of the luxury vehicle with lots of moving elements that make it look like the real deal.

Easily one of the most fun LEGO sets I’ve ever assembled, this house from the movie Up was the best Prime Day LEGO deal last year at 50% off. I’m hopeful that history will repeat itself, so keep an eye on this one throughout the sale. It’s packed with details on the inside, but the balloons on the outside make this set a standout.
