While Starbucks is known for its signature lattes, Energy Refreshers, and other fan-favorite drinks (hello Frappuccino!), its cafes are also stocked with collectible merch, sweet treats, and plenty of food options.

Now, there’s a new satisfying breakfast to add to your order: MUSH Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Overnight Oats.

Starting April 8, the ready-to-eat oats are available in the refrigerated grab-and-go case at most Starbucks locations nationwide.

A 2025 Good Housekeeping Snack Award winner, each single-serve cup packs 15 grams of protein and up to 7 grams of fiber. The simple ingredient list—cocoa, peanuts, oat milk, dates, sea salt—also impressed taste testers.

Flavor-wise, every bite delivers a hint of rich cocoa and nutty peanut butter notes that can pair really nicely with a simple cup of coffee—or be enjoyed solo. The texture is smooth but has just enough oomph to keep you satisfied as you dig in with a spoon.

And nutritionally, it’s a strong start to the day.

“I think this is a really nutritious breakfast. It’s protein-packed, but also has a great balance of fiber to round out the fullness equation,” says GH Nutrition Director Stefani Sassos, M.S., R.D.N. “I love this because it’s convenient and feels like real fuel, unlike many takeaway options that are mostly empty calories. I’m especially excited that Starbucks is offering something like this, because a balanced, ready-to-eat option that is also gluten-free is such a win for busy mornings.”

One more thing: MUSH makes plenty of other flavors—so here’s hoping this is just the beginning and more varieties hit Starbucks shelves soon.
