The longtime duo made a rare appearance at the 6th annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on October 17. Goldie and Kurt looked so in love while posing for the cameras on the red carpet, and they upped the ante by wearing matching black ensembles for the big moment. The Academy’s official X account shared how sweet it was to see Goldie and Kurt together.

Since we don’t often get to see Goldie and Kurt together, folks couldn’t get enough of them.

Kurt and Goldie have been together since 1983, after reconnecting during auditions for their film Swing Shift. They then welcomed son Wyatt Russell and raised children from their previous relationships. Goldie shares Oliver Hudson and Kate Hudson with ex-husband Bill Hudson, while Kurt shares son Boston Russell with ex-wife Season Hubley.
Goldie gave a reason the couple hasn’t tied the knot after four decades when speaking to CNN in 2023.
“Why should we get married?” Goldie commented at the time. “When it doesn't work out, it ends up to be big business ... How many divorces are fun? How many divorces actually don't cost money? How many divorces make you hate the person more than you did before? How many divorces have hurt children?”
