Tracker season 3 is airing new episodes on Sunday nights on CBS.

Fans learned actor Justin Hartley will be the commencement speaker at Knox College’s 2026 graduation ceremony.

The news comes weeks before the Tracker season 3 finale premieres on May 24, 2026.

Tracker fans, it looks like Justin Hartley is headed to a different kind of stage.

Ever since the actor started making a name for himself, fans have loved seeing Justin pop up on shows like This Is Us and Tracker. While there’s still some time before season 3 of Tracker wraps up on May 24, it looks like Justin already has another gig lined up.

On April 2, it was revealed that Justin would be the commencement speaker at Knox College’s (located in Galesburg, Illinois) official graduation ceremony on June 7. But that’s not all. In the official Instagram post announcing the news, fans also learned Justin would receive an honorary degree from the college during the event.

“Western Illinois-born and award-winning actor, producer, and star of CBS’ Tracker Justin Hartley is the 2026 Knox College Commencement speaker,” the caption read. “He will be awarded an honorary degree, along with internationally respected American art executive and cultural leader Deborah F. Rutter and award-winning investigative reporter Dorothy Tucker. Read the full release at the link in our bio!”

This is quite an exciting moment for Justin! After all, the actor does hail from Knoxville, Illinois, which is less than 15 minutes driving distance from the location of the college he’s receiving the honor from.

“It’s not often that Knox gets to welcome a native of the Illinois prairie as its commencement speaker, which makes awarding an honorary degree to Justin Hartley this June truly meaningful,” Knox College President C. Andrew McGadney said in an official statement. “With a career that spans more than 20 years as an actor, producer, and director, Justin’s outstanding work in television and film sets a noteworthy example of artistic achievement and personal accomplishment for the Class of 2026.”

Congrats, Justin!
