The Voice season 30 is airing on NBC.

Singer Chari blew coaches Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Riley Green, and Queen Latifah away with her rendition of Oleta Adams’ “Get Here.”

Adam Levine is giving a standing ovation to one of the auditioners on The Voice.

The competition show is in the middle of the Blind Auditions for season 30, and the talent continues to blow away Adam and fellow coaches Kelly Clarkson, Riley Green, and Queen Latifah. Thirty-one-year-old surgical technologist Chari had all the coaches in a chokehold during the September 28 episode, when she performed a moving cover of Oleta Adams’ “Get Here.”

All four mentors turned their chairs around within the first 30 seconds of the audition, but Adam stood throughout Chari’s song. And when it came time to give feedback, he let her know that he wasn’t ready to get back in his seat just yet.

“I’m not going to sit down, by the way,” he declared in the YouTube clip. “Because it would be disrespectful of me to sit down right now. You’re this good.”

Adam wasn’t alone in his praise for Chari—fans already had their thoughts.

“Awfully early to call it, but I simply don't see how she doesn't win, that's one of the purest R&B voices I've heard in ages,” one person wrote in the YouTube comments.

“Anyone who can introduce the newer generations to this absolutely PERFECT song is a winner in my eyes. The fact that she did such a beautiful and stirring performance is just chef's kiss perfection,” another agreed.

“Serious contender oh my gosh...what an incredible singer Chari is ❤️. Velvety smooth voice, impeccable control and yet so real and raw. It was beautiful to experience this performance, thank you ❤️,” a different follower added.

So, did Adam’s comments work in his favor? Chari actually chose Queen Latifah to be her coach—but that doesn’t mean they can’t work together in the future.

We’ll have to tune in to see what Chari does next!
