Colin the Caterpillar is never one to shy away from a costume change. Fresh from his St. Patrick’s Day look, he’s already switched things up for Easter, and this might be one of his cutest transformations yet. Say hello to the brand-new, limited-edition Easter Egg-Venture Colin the Caterpillar.

Landing in stores today, 24 March, and perfectly timed for the Easter celebrations, this seasonal version of our favourite cake comes fully dressed for the occasion. Think chocolate carrots, mini chocolate eggs and colourful sprinkles shaped like flowers, eggs and more. And of course, he’s topped it all off with a pair of bunny ears, because it wouldn’t be Easter without them.

Inside, it’s the Colin we all know and love. That soft, chocolate sponge roll filled with sweet chocolate buttercream and coated in a smooth milk chocolate shell, just with a playful, Easter-themed twist on the outside.

And if a full Colin feels like a bit much (we get it), there are also Mini Easter Egg-Venture Colin Cakes available. These are essentially bite-sized versions of the original, perfect for snacking, sharing or adding to an Easter spread.

Both sizes are available now in M&S Food stores, with the full-size Colin priced at £12.50 (650g) and the minis at £3.75 (175g).

If you’re hosting over the Easter long weekend or putting together a table of sweet treats, this feels like an easy win. It’s nostalgic, playful and guaranteed to be the first thing people reach for - and probably the first thing to disappear, too.
