PizzaExpress is once again making it far too easy to enjoy restaurant favourites at home. After the success of its supermarket range that launched back in the early 2000's, the brand is bringing more excitement and innovation of its most talked-about dishes to the shelves - and this one already has a loyal following. Say hello to the Marry Me Chicken pizza.
Landing in supermarkets from 15 April, this new addition takes inspiration from the viral “Marry Me Chicken” dish that’s been doing the rounds for a while now. Originally created as part of PizzaExpress’s Valentine’s Day menu, it proved so popular that it’s now joining the brand’s iconic Specials range for everyone to enjoy at home.
It's a delectable hand-stretched, wood-fired pizza base topped with a creamy béchamel sauce, marinated chicken, semi-dried tomatoes and a generous sprinkle of Parmigiano Reggiano. It’s rich, comforting and packed with flavour, hitting that perfect balance between indulgent and fresh. If you’ve ever made Marry Me Chicken at home, you’ll know just how good those flavours are - so seeing them popped on to a pizza feels like a very welcome (and genius) move.
And the good news doesn’t stop there. PizzaExpress is also expanding its supermarket offering with two more new flavours over the next coming weeks. There's a Diavolo, which arrives in Tesco from 13 April, loaded with creamy mozzarella, spicy beef and pepperoni for an easy midweek dinner with a bit of heat. Then in May, there's a Meatball Italiano which lands in Asda, topped with rich Italian passata, pork and beef meatballs and sweet peppers. YUM. Pizza night at home just got a serious upgrade.
