Is it just us, or did Angel Delight feel like it took forever to set when we were kids? We’d hover by the fridge, checking every five minutes, leaving fingerprint marks on the surface because we simply couldn’t wait any longer. That first spoonful always felt worth it though. And now, that same nostalgic dessert is back in the spotlight with a brand-new twist.

Angel Delight has just announced two new flavours, and they tap perfectly into the bakery-inspired trend we’re seeing everywhere right now. Launching exclusively in Morrisons from 24 April, the new Angel Delight Cake Shop range includes Birthday Cake and Cookies & Cream - and safe to say, we (and a lot of the internet) is very excited.

They've taken those familiar cake flavours we all love so much and blended them into Angel Delight’s signature light and irresistibly airy texture. The Birthday Cake flavour promises that sweet, vanilla-style sponge taste, while Cookies & Cream leans into that classic chocolatey, creamy combination. It’s the kind of nostalgic-meets-modern mash-up that’s genuinely hard to resist.

It also feels very in tune with what people want right now. We’re seeing more and more hybrid desserts, where classic treats are reimagined in new formats, and this fits perfectly into that space. It’s comforting, familiar, but still feels like something new to try.

At just 95p per sachet, it’s an easy addition to your weekly shop, whether you’re reliving childhood favourites or introducing them to someone new.
