Caramac fans listen up! Cadbury has confirmed that they are set to expand its Twirl range once again with the launch of a brand-new and limited-edition Golden Dipped Twirl, a bar that's already drawing comparisons to the discontinued (and much loved) Caramac and Caramilk bars.

The new product features the brand’s signature flaky Twirl centre coated in caramelised white chocolate, offering what fans expect to be a sweeter, creamier take on the classic bar. Mondelez International has confirmed the product will arrive in UK stores later this year, although an exact launch date has not yet been revealed - but watch this space as we will share it as soon as it's announced.

It seems that all the big brands are prioritising driving excitement through limited-edition product launches. Just yesterday we spotted a mango flavoured Viennetta ice cream coming to our shelves soon, so this brand-new Twirl variant is very exciting. Only last year we saw the Twirl White Dipped (an immediate favourite within our food team), which wrapped the traditional milk chocolate swirls in white chocolate and prompted comparisons to the discontinued Cadbury Snowflake (RIP).

Earlier launches have included Twirl Orange, which first appeared as a limited edition in 2019 before returning permanently following strong consumer demand, alongside Twirl Mint and Twirl Caramel.

The Golden Dipped Twirl is expected to appeal strongly to shoppers nostalgic for caramel-flavoured chocolate bars, particularly after Nestlé discontinued Caramac in 2023. As with previous Twirl spin-offs, the product is likely to appear in stores for a limited seasonal run.
