Every time Lindt launches a new LINDO truffle flavour, we immediately stop what we’re doing and go searching for it. So when we spotted that a brand-new flavour had quietly landed on shelves - and shoppers are already calling it “the best one yet” - we knew we had to investigate.

Introducing the new Lindt LINDOR Golden Caramel Hazelnut truffle. The new flavour combines a caramelised white chocolate shell with a smooth golden caramel centre, alongside roasted hazelnut nibs and Lindt’s signature melting filling. In short: creamy, nutty and unapologetically indulgent. It leans into those richer, more patisserie inspired flavours that have been everywhere lately, particularly the trend for caramelised white chocolate in desserts and bakery items.

That caramelised white chocolate element is what makes this especially interesting. Rather than tasting simply sweet, it brings a deeper, slightly toasted flavour that’s closer to toffee or dulce de leche, which works brilliantly with the roasted hazelnuts. It feels much more dessert-like than standard chocolate truffle.

And shoppers online already seem obsessed. Early reviews are full of people describing it as 'dangerously addictive' and 'the best Lindt flavour yet', which is saying something considering how many cult favourites the brand already has.

It also follows Lindt’s recent run of more adventurous launches, including the Japanese-inspired Sakura Cherry Blossom truffles that became a surprise hit earlier this year. At the moment it appears the new flavour is only available in Lindt pick 'n mix stores, but we expect it to come packaged up in their standard boxes and on supermarket shelves in no time.

And for what we’d love to see next? With brand collaborations having such a moment right now, we envision Lindt collaborating with Biscoff or Toblerone next. A festive mash-up, perhaps? Here's hoping...🤞🏼
