There is nothing we love more than a hot summer’s day and an ice-cold coffee in hand, and Nespresso clearly understands the assignment because the coffee brand has just launched two brand-new flavoured pods that practically scream sunshine and holidays - in drink form.

Landing today are the new Vanilla Yuzu and Coconut Vanilla pods, alongside the return of the fan favourite Oatly Barista Edition, which has been specifically designed to pair beautifully with oat milk.

The most intriguing of the new launches is definitely the Vanilla Yuzu. It combines the bright, citrusy floral flavour of Japanese yuzu with sweet vanilla for a coffee that is fresh, zesty and very different from the usual syrup-heavy iced coffees on the high street. Nespresso recommends serving this one over ice, particularly as a tonic-style drink, where the citrus notes can really shine. We love espresso with tonic so this sounds right up our alley.

Then there’s the Coconut Vanilla, a blend of sweet coconut and vanilla flavours, perfect over ice with milk. This is 100% our sort of drink, and love the creamy coconut. flavour with coffee notes.

And for oat milk loyalists, the return of the Oatly Barista Edition pods is very good news. Designed specifically to complement oat drinks, it’s become a cult favourite among Nespresso fans for its naturally sweeter, smoother taste.

Nespresso has also brought back its viral travel tumblers in bright summery shades, alongside accessories designed for iced coffee season, from ice trays to glassware. We have two at home already, but definitely want to pick up that beautiful lavender shade. Oh, and they're dishwasher friendly too! No scrubbing here.
