Lavazza has just launched a brand-new range of ready-to-drink iced coffees, and there's one flavour in particular that's stolen our hearts. Inspired by one of Italy's most iconic desserts, it's a Tiramisù Cappuccino - and we can't wait to get our hands on this one.
The new chilled coffee range includes four Italian-inspired flavours: Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato, Caramel Latte and, of course, Cappuccino Tiramisù. As huge tiramisu fans, this was always going to be the one we reached for first.
The new drink combines Lavazza's signature coffee with creamy dairy and dessert-inspired flavours, creating a drink that's rich, smooth and indulgent without feeling overly sweet (key). It captures all the best bits of a classic tiramisu: the bold coffee, creamy mascarpone-style notes and subtle cocoa-like finish..but in a convenient 220ml format you can enjoy on the go. They're perfect for keeping a few in the fridge (either at home or in the office) so if you need a little afternoon pick-me-up you'll be sorted in no time.
The rest of the range sounds equally as tempting. There's a classic Cappuccino for traditionalists, a smooth Latte Macchiato and a velvety Caramel Latte, giving coffee lovers plenty of choice depending on their mood.
Ready-to-drink coffees have become one of the fastest-growing categories in supermarkets, but we're particularly pleased to see brands moving beyond the usual vanilla and caramel flavours. Tiramisu feels like a natural fit for coffee lovers, and we're happy to have it available from one of our favourite coffee brands now.
The range is available in Sainsbury's, with a wider rollout planned across other supermarkets in the coming months. It's currently on sale for £1.50 (with a Nectar card), so if you're looking to snap up a bargain, grab one immediately. So, if you're looking for a new afternoon pick-me-up, we'd recommend making a beeline for the Tiramisù Cappuccino first.
