It's been an exciting summer for Lorraine Kelly, who saw her daughter Rosie Kelly Smith walk down the aisle in a beautiful celebration in Scotland. For her daughter's wedding day, Lorraine chose a pastel blue mother-of-the-bride outfit - and it reminded us of a very similar look previously worn by the Princess of Wales.

Rosie married Steve White at the Cromlix hotel near Dunblane, Scotland, with daughter Billie by her side. Lorraine chose a monochrome look for Rosie's big day, wearing a blue midi dress with a lightweight cape draping gently from the shoulders. She added a pair of heels in the same shade, and an asymmetric hat topped with ribbons to finish the look.

Lorraine's look was a modern take on a classic mother-of-the-bride ensemble, and echoed the Princess of Wales' formal look worn for Trooping the Colour earlier this year. In 2017, she wore a similar ensemble in a closer shade to Lorriane's, but with a slightly more avante-garde hat than we usually see her choose.

Lorraine co-ordinated with Rosie's father on the day, who went for a similar green-blue look with a traditional kilt and tartan tie, representing the family's Scottish heritage. While the groom wore a classic tuxedo, Rosie chose an off-the-shoulder lace gown with a short train by Susanne Neville, adding a dramatic, veil which trailed behind her.

The wedding venue chosen by the newly weds also has a famous connection, as it's owned by another well-known Scottish figure; tennis legend Sir Andy Murray. The stunning Victorian mansion is a 5 star hotel owned by Sir Andy and his wife Kim. It's situated in the Stirlingshire countryside and is a perfect wedding venue - it even has it's own chapel in the grounds.

Sit Andy Murray may have left competitive tennis has a player, but he's still active in the scene as a coach. Speaking previously to Good Housekeeping, Sir Andy confessed he's 'not very good at tennis anymore' and now enjoys a number of different sports with his kids and friends, including padel and golf.
