It was a very stylish Monday indeed this week, as British design house Burberry celebrated its next season collection with a star-studded fashion show and afterparty. Joining the fun was Fiona Shaw, putting a leather twist on the classic trench coat which has delivered some serious autumn style inspiration.
Fiona joined the glamorous events in a midaxi (half way between midi - mid calf - and maxi - full length) leather trench coat, which she wore with the belt knotted at the waist and a pair of black kitten heel stilettos. A good trench coat never goes out of style, and we love the deep green tone of Fiona's which offsets her red hair perfectly. The leather twist is ideal for autumn and, while Fiona's coat is fabulous, you don't need a designer budget to replicate a similar look.
Karen Millen's trench in deep oxblood red is currently 30% off, and channels the same rich, autumnal feel as Fiona Shaw's. It's also available in black, if you're looking for something a little more classic:

While we're all busy getting our Autumn wardrobes together and perhaps tentatively looking towards Christmas and winter, the fashion world is already revealing its final designs for the warmer months of 2027. Fiona Shaw was attending the fashion show for Burberry's Summer 2027 collection at Chelsea College of Arts, before following on to the afterparty at the St. Clement Hotel in London, on Monday (21 September).
