Well, another week of The Celebrity Traitors is behind us. Can we believe that Hannah Fry made it out of the round table? Nope. Are we gutted that Bella has been murdered? Absolutely. What on earth will happen with the hide and seek game at the end?

While we're maddened by having to wait almost a full week for our next Traitors fix, at least the episode we were left with was an absolute banger. The best of the season thus far, I'd say. Here are 7 incredible moments that make it so.

Julie's oversized reaction to Bella being murdered

Add Julie to the list of iconic blonde breakfast exaggerators on The Celebrity Traitors. Just like Kate Garraway's 'maybe somebody's been recruited' and Jerry Hall's 'what about Richard?', before it, in this episode Julie Hesmondhalgh delivered a loud statement at the breakfast table that made everyone suspicious. As Bash and James Blunt entered the room and it was revealed Bella had been killed off, Julie's response was notably elevated. 'That doesn't make any sense,' she cried, immediately drawing attention of Miss Miranda Marple, who described it as a 'big' reaction. Big, it was.

Jerry's spot-on suspicions immediately being dismissed

Did anyone catch that moment that Jerry casually dropped a spot-on suspicion? Chatting with Julie and Miranda in the kitchen, Jerry pondered whether James Acaster could be a traitor. Us lot at home knew she was entirely right. Julie and Miranda, not so much. They instantly shut Jerry down, declaring James Acaster a '100% faithful'. When she instead proposed James Blunt, Julie and Miranda declared that she could be on to something. Very funny.

Miranda vomming

The entire mission, which took place in a creepy little hut and involved reuniting 'spirits' with their chosen items, was the most entertaining thus far. Sebastian Croft going head-down in a toilet. Joe Lycett confirming 'it does actually smell like poo'. Maya sharing that 'a little wee came out' when she got startled. But the best bit was certainly Miranda Hart full-on retching at the stench of the toilet fluids until she did a little sick. Incredible TV.

Romesh and Claudia getting very into their 'ring, ring, ring' duties

While one half of the celebrities were in the cabin, the other had to join hands and chant a little tune to lure the spirits. We spied Romesh really getting into this challenge, and then appearing to immediately regret doing so. 'My wife is going to describe this as an ick,' he shared, after gleefully skipping and singing. When the teams swapped, we spotted Claudia linking hands and joining in on the circle.

Miranda continuing her Miss Marple streak – then stumbling at the last hurdle

Miranda has proven herself as a great detective so far. In Thursday's episode, she was right on in noticing Hannah's squirminess around the shield situation. She continued this wisdom by urging multiple players to 'stop telling Hannah things'. In the round table, when Hannah suddenly became animated, Miranda was the one to spot how odd that was! She was right on the money! So why, oh why, did she decide at the last minute to question her detective work and vote Julie out instead? Come on, Miranda, you silly sausage!

Maya urging James and Hannah get their heads in the game

Poor old traitors. Ever since Richard got banished, the majority of the traitors troupe have been unwilling murderers. Both James and Hannah were set on being faithful, and as such have been really letting the team down. So we greatly enjoyed Maya taking charge. 'Snap into murder mode,' she said. Quite right.

Romesh quite clearly not wanting to give up the key

Romesh was on top form this episode, especially when he, along with Ross, Rob, and Leigh-Anne, was chosen for a dangerous game of hide and seek. From his 'have we won?' quip when each of the quad got out of their cars to trying to convince Leigh-Anne to hand over her safety so he could be protected, Romesh made us cackle. 'You've got to respect democracy but I'm not happy,' he said. We could all tell.
