There was a lot to love in Friday's episode of The Celebrity Traitors. Julie's massive reaction to Bella being murdered. The madness of Hannah making it through the round table. The sheer brilliance of the mission in the creepy hut.

But can we take a moment for the fashion this week? While usually we expect colours in the Traitors castle to be all dark and spooky (à la Queen Claudia, of course), this week the mood was noticeably brightened with remarkably springy shades. At the breakfast and in theory discussions, all the celebs seemed to be wearing either a cheery shade of blue or a lovely yellow.

James Blunt had on a pale yellow suit. Leigh-Anne went for a yellow tweed blazer. And best of all was Hannah Fry's outfit: a delightful yellow cardigan with flower-shaped buttons from Essentiel Antwerp.

Alas, the exact cardigan Hannah wore is completely sold out. But! What we can learn from this episode is that yellow is an unexpectedly brilliant colour to wear in the depths of autumn/winter. Even when you're surrounded by velvet cloaks and tartan kilts. As she made it through another episode escaping banishment, Hannah has convinced us that a yellow cardigan is a must for the season ahead.

We've found a similar option – same chunky knit, a slightly more wearable light yellow shade, a flattering cropped fit – from Jigsaw, currently with 50% off. Unlike Hannah, we think this is a piece that will be a forever faithful.

While Hannah paired her cardi with traitorous robes in deep green, we reckon a more everyday look might be a yellow knit over a white tee and jeans. Lovely stuff.
