Many members of my team use these tiered cabinet organizers in their home kitchens, myself included. We use these for spices, canned food, small jars, and so much more. “The levels help me see what I have, so I don’t have to search and remind me what I have on hand,” says Kitchen Appliances Lab Director Nicole Papantoniou.

I personally use a turntable like this in my own refrigerator, and it’s great for storing jams, miso paste, and other small items that tend to get lost in the back. While Papantoniou uses this one for spices, noting, “It spins smoothly, and the lip is taller than others I’ve tested, so spices don’t fall out when I turn it.”
Tall cabinets are a blessing, but without the right tools, it can be hard to take full advantage of all that vertical space without something breaking.
