It barely feels like a day passes without M&S dropping another viral food launch.
And generally, we can’t get enough – chocolate cone bite anyone?
But every so often, they bring back a product we’ve genuinely missed. And this is one of those moments. News just in: the legendary Detroit-style pizzas ARE BACK!
Landing just in time for summer, the return couldn’t be better timed. With the World Cup set to dominate the season, expect our plates to follow suit – and right now, that means going big on all things Americana.
These pizzas deliver exactly that. Think crisp, crunchy edges, light, airy dough, and toppings piled high. They go right to the edges too, so there’s no token crust left behind.
There are two flavours to choose from, both reportedly made using "traditional methods, finished by hand and stone-baked". The Cool Marg’Pie is a classic but a goodie. It starts with a rich tomato and basil base, then comes an insane amount of mozzarella and extra mature cheddar for the ultimate cheese pull. And then there’s more marinara sauce on top, plus lemon mascarpone drizzled over. Creamy as hell, we’re stockpiling while we have the chance.
For those that can handle the heat, the Hot Pepp’Pie, is a spicy little number. The same, thick, fluffy base and heavy cheese situation, plus pepperoni (natch), cute roquito pearls for a burst of heat, and a drizzle of hot honey to finish. That’s movie night sorted.
Both are £7.50 each – and frankly, punch well above their price tag.
YUM! Staying in never looked so good.
