Whether she’s styling a chic dress or jeans, Kate Middleton never misses. Just take a peek at the royal’s latest look, which paired three closet staples harmoniously.
Kate attended the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games on August 1, and I immediately noticed her bold striped shirt. It totally screamed “Kate” (the Princess of Wales is no stranger to stripes). It looks like she’s specifically wearing the La Ligne Striped Featherweight Sweater Vest, a now-sold-out cream-colored number with horizontal black stripes and a sleeveless design.
Although it’s unavailable, you can find other options at Amazon, Nordstrom, and Madewell (this one’s on sale!) that share the same nautical vibe.
If you want to mimic Kate’s easy-breezy outfit from head to toe, you can go ahead and pair your top with a pleated white skirt that’s similar to the Christopher Kane find she’s seemingly wearing. (Her exact skirt isn’t for sale anymore, but I dug around and found nearly identical picks to shop at Amazon, Lulu’s and Aritzia.)
We can’t forget about Kate’s blazer, which gives the laid-back outfit a fierce, girl-boss vibe. She appears to be wearing forest green-color blazer by Ralph Lauren—more specifically, the Camden Cashmere Jacket (which, sadly, is also sold out).
Still, there are other options available—and since autumn is right around the corner, right now’s a good time to revamp your cold-weather wardrobe.
Kate’s outfit was grounded with beige slingbacks by Camilla Elphick, a footwear designer she’s been seen wearing before. Since there’s quite a bit of texture and patterns being showcased in Kate’s outfit, I think her heels balance it out in a gorgeous way.
