Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, visited Cornwall earlier this week to highlight new work from her Early Childhood initiative exploring how nature and creativity can help support young children's development.
While she was there, the royal took new portraits with royal photographer Josh Shinner. She posed in front of a stunning green valley backdrop and wore the loveliest fall outfit, including a Barbour jacket she’s worn on multiple occasions and a charming Fair Isle knit sweater.
You can learn more details about Kate’s new project and see more of her look in the clip below.
Kate’s wearing the Barbour Winter Defence Wax Jacket, a layering piece she’s worn several times within the last five years. It’s a heavier cotton jacket with utility pockets, and the brand’s iconic tartan lines the inside. It’s surprisingly still in stock on Barbour’s website.
The princess is also wearing a cozy Fair Isle Relaxed Sweater by UK luxury brand ME+EM. It’s an alpaca wool-blend sweater with a slightly loose fit, but ribbed trims at the cuffs and hem keep it structured. This is also in stock, but sizes are running out quickly (XXS, S, and M are still available at the time of publication).
If your size has run out, or you simply want more options, I listed a few below from Amazon, Boden, and more. Picks start at just $36.
Finally, one last styling tip we could steal from Kate: She wore a frill collar shirt under her sweater (a genius layering move for warmth and style). It’s possible you already have something like this, but Amazon has options for around $20.
