Dancing With the Stars season 35 airs Tuesdays on ABC and Disney+.

Fans begged the show to bring back a previous rule after singer Taylor Hanson and his partner, Britt Stewart, were eliminated on the September 29 episode.

The star spoke out after being eliminated.

Week three of Dancing With the Stars season 35 is over, and fans are up in arms over Taylor Hanson and his partner, Britt Stewart, getting eliminated.

The ABC/Disney+ series celebrated Yacht Rock Night on September 29, with Taylor and Britt dancing a Foxtrot to “What a Fool Believes” by the Doobie Brothers. The duo’s one-minute routine excited fans with Taylor’s improvement, and they loved seeing how the two interacted on the dance floor.

When it came time for scores, judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli gave Taylor and Britt an 18 out of 30. And although they weren't the lowest-scoring couple of the night, the two were eventually eliminated.

As soon as fans learned the results, they demanded that the show bring back an element from seasons past.

“Are you guys serious? Like, be honest. BRING BACK JUDGES’ SAVE!!!!!!!!!” one person screamed in the comments, referencing a rule from seasons 28 to 32 that allowed the judges to save one couple from leaving the competition.

Others agreed.

“Robbed completely! They deserved to stay; he deserved better scoring, and Britt deserves better in general. I’m so sorry we failed you both. 💔,” another lamented. “So we’re actually joking, right? Because what was that elimination?” a different follower added.

Although things didn’t go Britt and Taylor’s way, they’re proud of what they achieved.

“I’m grateful,” Taylor told Good Morning America. “Getting to know her and getting to spend this time, like, we’ve had a blast. It’s been hard. It’s been really testing. She’s had to be pseudo counselor/dance instructor ... but this is such a beautiful leap. Anybody who comes on the show, like, you don’t get to delegate it to some other person. You get to walk in and dance. I’m sad to see it end, because we were just getting going.”

We’ll absolutely miss them!
