Fans are worried about Mickey Fox’s dad, Wes, after seeing the promo for the October 23 episode, “Ulysses.”

Sheriff Country season 2 is underway, and fans are already riled up about one character’s fate.
As new episodes drop on Fridays on CBS, viewers are following Sheriff Mickey Fox (Morena Baccarin) as she investigates a trafficking ring in Edgewater. In the last two episodes, Mickey, her dad Wes (W. Earl Brown), and her newly found mom Eva Santos (Rachel Ticotin) found a way into the group for an undercover sting. But the October 16 episode ended with the bombshell of Wes being kidnapped.
So, how will everybody fare? Well, based on how Mickey reacted to the news in the promo for the October 23 episode, titled “Ulysses,” it doesn’t look good.
“If something happens to my dad, you better hope I never find you,” Mickey threatens Eva in the clip posted on YouTube.
With Mickey and Wes at odds this season, her reaction to his kidnapping had fans panicking.
“Go get your Dad back, Mickey,” one person wrote in the comments. “Mickey ain’t playing bout her dad, her mom bout hope and pray Wes is ok because if he ain’t Mickey is gonna bring down hell on earth,” another agreed. “Not Mickey’s dad!” a different follower added.
The upcoming episode won’t just focus on Wes’s kidnapping. An official press release from CBS noted that the episode will also follow Mickey try to curb a drug crisis in Edgewater’s college community. She also navigates newfound family dynamics and how they play into her role as sheriff.
